Yes, 'free spirit' means he does not like to be stifled in speech and in actions right? ( ) That position is only suitable for persons of certain temperament, must have unquestionable loyalty and 'guai' or docile in their eyes. :imanangel:
He's already said he won't be running for P. He's a 'free spirit'. -

Yep. He would probably be miserable in that role. -
Anyone saw the news snippet of TPL's first Meet-the-people session last night? One resident was shown going in to her office and she proceeded to ask \"how are you today?\". The resident replied \"fine\" and after a quick glance took to writing something in her forms. My DS echoed my thoughts when he asked me if TPL's a doctor? :rotflmao:
\"How come she behaves like one with her questions?\". :? -

Is your dog staying in her constituency? Did he get lost in her constituency? Then of course she must help. :rotflmao:

[quote=\"tankee\"]Eric Tan, leader of WP East Coast said he has received the offer of 1 NCMP seat for a member of the team. He said he will leave it to the WP to decide whether to accept and if yes, who. But he added it will likely to be him

04:47 AM May 11, 2011
SINGAPORE - The Jurong Town Council has cleared the air over the termination of an employee, dispelling online rumours that she was let go because of her involvement in events held by an Opposition party.
It said the matter involving former customer service officer Geraldine Soh is related to her poor performance. Ms Soh, 25, was an employee of EMASCO Township Management, the managing agent for the town council.
\"We would like to clarify that this was purely a human resource management issue between ESMACO and the employee ... Council members of the Jurong Town Council are not involved in EMASCO's human resource decisions,\" said town council general manager Ho Thian Poh in an email reply to MediaCorp's queries.
\"The staff concerned was terminated by ESMACO for reasons of under-performance over a period of several months. This included weaknesses in attending to calls from residents and following up on calls. Counselling of the officer by her supervisors did not lead to improvement and her continuation on the job would have demoralised other staff,\" Mr Ho added.
Questions regarding Ms Soh's dismissal began surfacing online yesterday, after her boyfriend, Mr Joel Kong, alerted netizens and online social political websites about the incident.
Ms Soh, who was given her last pay cheque yesterday, told reporters she had been suspended from work since last Tuesday. The weekend before, she had been helping to distribute National Solidarity Party (NSP) pamphlets and sell party merchandise at its rally at Jurong West stadium.
Ms Soh denied that she had attended counselling sessions because of her work. She claimed that she had been called into the office \"about four to five times over the last three years\" following complaints from residents. But this was a \"common occurrence\" among colleagues, she said.
In response to MediaCorp's queries, a Ministry of Manpower (MOM) spokesperson said it has not received any complaints officially lodged by Ms Soh. -

Ya lor, it's only a Kate Spade.
With her salary she can easily afford it, so i don't see the hoo ha about it.
However if it were an hermes, then maybe it would be too extravagant.
There again if she can afford it, why not.
I know of people who scrimp and save and skip meals just to buy an LV bag. -
Grace Fu expressed her \"regret\" if her analogy of comparing some opposition parties to unprofessional insurance agents (who appear only once every 5 yrs) caused unhappiness. No sincere apologies lei.. :skeptical:

I did not sense much in that letter too.
Her clarification was very swift!
