Remember our first telephone too, except those days it was green (I think). Classic!

Those were the days when 'dailing the phone' actually means exactly what it is. :skeptical:

I've always wondered, how come '9' is the slowest number to dail when it's the number to call for emergencies? Trivial pursuit anyone?

No, they use very thin plastic bags where you just need to bite at the tip of the bag and start sucking the juice from the ice...

            check SKP sell or not....

            Sorry, where is SKP?

Ice kachang made into a ball? How to eat? So cold? I recall my mum telling me she used to eat this ice kachang ball when she was young.

My time, we had this \"sng pow\"... ice in long plastic bag and sometimes they add a sour plum in it... yummy! Wonder where to find such plastic bags. I want to make some for DD. It's fun eating from there.

wow....all these foodies brought back many fond memories...
oh yes, i remembered the ice kachang ball and also the sng pow.

haha, u mean eating ice kachag balls are those ard yr mum age?? :slapshead:
i remembered i ate it when i was very young then πŸ˜„
when i went to my uncle's provision shop.
we made ourselves the ice kachang ball,
so shiok..... as we could add whatever syrup we liked, red, yellow, green...... :please:

Yes leh, my parents ate during their time. I have never eaten them except the sng pow. πŸ˜„

Haha, ya that's true, esp when we need to call 999 and have to wait such a long time... I remember waiting such a long time for the number to be dialled. Got a little impatient back then. πŸ˜‰
