eligibility to phases are not determined by distance of home to school.

the distance is only used when there are more applicants than available vacancies for any phase.

if you are only eligible for phase 2C and are staying 1-2km from Tao Nan, it is highly unlikely that you would be able to participate in the ballot. Balloting for Tan Nan in Phase 2C have been for applicants within 1km, and likely to remain the same this year.

I’m under phase 2b 1-2km for tao nan and phase 2a2 for nan hua. How? Should i take a chance with tao nan which is nearer or go for a sure thing? Those experienced parents out there can advise if 20-25 min travelling via car to clementi via ecp is too tiring for primary school?

Nan Hua is far. You need to factor in rush hour traffic.


but to give up a sure thing and bet on 1 that you may not even stand a chance to ballot is not wise.
