No worries, jtoh.
Thanks for your help, QuiteKSMum. Don't think I'll recommend her to go JB though so I'll look for one in Singapore for her.

Ya lor. Now she wants to tahan until she goes back next year.jtoh:
Called up a private dental clinic. Extraction of wisdom tooth is $200 after discount for maid. My maid was saying in Philippines it costs only 100 pesos or S$7 for wisdom tooth extraction. Aiyoh! Why didn't she get it done when she was back home recently?
Wow, only cost S$7 for wisdom tooth extraction in Phiipppines? Then she should have done it back home.
My maid wanted to do her dentures when she went back for home leave 2 yrs ago. But her home leave is only 15 days, not enough time to wait for her dentures to be ready so I told her I subsidise a bit for her to do it at NUH. But every time she goes for her dental treatment (half a day), I gotta either take leave or work from home to look after my kid. -

Try those dentist that are situated in the heartland. I used to send mine to a certain Dr Goh at Bukit merah ctral. Normally the cheapest way out is to extract

Thanks moonee. Maid now says she will tahan until she goes home.

My friend paid for her helper’s tooth extraction: $75 at Q&M. It was unbearable and affecting her ability to work.
Might have to do the same if she cannot tahan till next year. -

Where's Q&M? I don't mind helping her with the bill if the pain's unbearable. My friend paid for her helper's tooth extraction: $75 at Q&M. It was unbearable and affecting her ability to work.

Q&M is everywhere: http://www.qandm.com.sg/clinic.aspx
My friend went to one of the HDB ones (not sure which).
Such a coincidence...my helper also just told me about her toothache(s) and that she intends to tahan until she returns home. If only their insurance covers dental care. Most helpers probably have poor teeth as toothpaste, not to mention dental checkups, is too expensive back home. -
Hmmm…is going dentist the IN-thing for maids now? My previous maids din, this maid also went dentist on her 3rd month here…

thanks beanstalk.
