Ms Tin was a Senior Associate at Ernst and Young before the election. Her promotion, if true, will see her pay almost doubled to about $7,000 to $8,000 monthly.

The controversial candidacy of Ms Tin has galvanized the usually apathetic young Singaporeans who were appalled at her selection as a PAP candidate.

Many lambasted Ms Tin for her apparent lack of ’substance’ to be a MP. Immediately after an election, at least three different online petitions were started calling for her removal.

Ms Tin was also caught flouting the election rules on ‘Cooling off’ day when her administrator posted a snide comment about her opponent Nicole Seah on her Facebook. The Election Department insisted that a police report be made before it will take action.

The Temasek Review learnt that a certain Yap Keng Ho had come forth to make the police report but nothing has been heard from the Election Department despite a police report had been made as “requested”.

If Ms Tin is indeed promoted, she will probably earn more than $20,000 monthly included her $15,000 monthly allowance as a MP, far more than any Singaporean of her age would have earned. If it's true, then the quality of E&Y is questionable and its reputation is at stake. But, let's say TPL's future will be very bright, 前途无量!

It is pretty straightforward....
One can apply under the 10 yrs Visit Pass and u need not to give up yr own citizenship.
You are not required to have compulsory investments or purchase of a hse.
You can migrate to Malaysia with your spouse and children who are below 21 years old (unmarried).
A sum of few thousand dollars (the other time I was told ard S$3,000 )
is required for the initial lawyer fees and agent fees who process yr application.

maintaining a FD bal of RM 100,000 after 1 yr, is not a big sum of money,
that is equivalent to S$ of less than 50K.
(it is considered as low, compared to some other countries' retirement scheme which requires finiancial investments)

one would def need much more than that sum of money if u are talking abt retirement, esp in Singapore.

Think will probably go for long term visa (spouse visa)... cheaper. Since both visa for MM2H program and spouse visa also need to renew... The program every 10years while spouse visa every few months.

I don't wish to bring so much $$ to and fro, very \"dangerous\". Plus no money...
