Which is ridiculous right ? You come to other people country, given a job and you still want to be involved in your guest country internal politics ? I read that , I
Maybe the non-citizen can turn to become PR then become citizen and then go join politics. So in the end can voice up :?
I remember reading one in the ST forum page asking for representation of their respective nationality in the parliament. Anyway I feel it's a matter of time such requests pop up as more foreigners come here and want their voice to be heardpinky:
i lost the link to an article which i think was on asiaone.com about foreigners who want to vote one of their own into parliament to be their voice in the next election.
anyone came across it? -

While DPM Teo tries to clarify the pension scheme, he lets out that PAP ministers start collecting pensions at age 55 even in office. I don't know what to say....

I'll vote for you in the next elections, really......
but it is self interest versus party interest versus national interest
if anyone places self interest ahead of national interest, then he or she doen't not deserved to be in the parliament. -
Next time want to go JB old folks home, have to prepare RM150,000 so no need wheelchair/walking sticks in and out of Singapore and JB for another 10 years. But then I think if got this much RM150,000, why want to go old folk home in JB :?
If no such amount, prepare wheelchair/walking stick as need to go in and out of JB every few months... -

Oppsgal:
This is another thorny issue; we worked so hard for almost our whole life; we spent the bulk of our cpf on a roof overhead. We dont know when we can smell our remaining cpf, hopefully we are long-lived to touch it, else it is meant for our future generation.
