Lavender essential oil is safe to apply on kids too, you can try if it works on your child. It’s expensive but natural.

You really go all the way out to prevent bites. Pandan leaves repel mozzie too, they grow fast, no need maintenance and give nice scent to your garden.

My son’s like me, prone to mozzie bites too. I’m always the first to get kisses from them everywhere I go!

😉 I have pandan, lemon grass and chilli padi growing hale and healthy in my garden. Good for cooking too.

Yah no choice, if you see the blisters that she gets, not the small ones, she gets these really huge blisters the size of 20 cent coins that will burst and still be kind wet for days. My biggest fear is the sores getting infected.

Try badger anti bug. It works well for my family.

For remedies of itch and redness, try dr lily aloe vera gel! Good!

            Hi,

The best medicine for itchy mosquito bites is Tiger Balm.

My doc recommended me when I brought my girl to see him for serious insect bites.

Apply immediately to prevent it from getting swollen.

            Cheers!

Make sure you clear your pots or pails ,get rid of all the water to prevent the growth in numbers of mozzie…

You can buy mosquito patch from guardian or 7-11,it can help to prevent mozzie from your child,or for long term wise,i think you better get those plug in light/sound buzzer to be place near your child bed or room…

              Good Luck!

My girl is very prone to mosquito bite and they come nasty and huge. Anyone has any effective remedy to stop the itch and get rid of the big red swollen bites?

Usually prevention is better than cure so here are some ways to prevent it 🙂 Wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants (can consider tightly woven duds and light coloured clothings) and use Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-registered insect repellents with one of the active ingredients below (image).

For cure, Ive been putting Mopiko all these while and its effective to reduce the red spots and itch.

                For more info: https://www.cdc.gov/zika/prevention/prevent-mosquito-bites.html & http://www.prevention.com/health/stop-mosquito-bites/slide/5

                Hope this helps! 🙂
