Thank you, Happy Mama, don't think she is that superduper. Haha. She tried her best and that's good enough. Yes, I missed those stickers too. Haha. This year's FT's not in that habit. Kudos to your dd for her results. I've seen the CL paper. In general, the passages are pitched at P3's readability and understanding but the answering skills are beyond them. I don't think they are taught in advance in class on how to tackle these questions. Even if we had exposed them to good HCL compre assessment books, they are still not equipped to answer PH's questions' requirements.

Yes most importantly, our kids have tried their best with minimal careless mistakes.

I haven't read the CL compre passage yet. Actually I dread reading CL passages (but I can't tell this to DD). So got to pretend I enjoy reading CL passages in order not to kill her interest since she's still got a long way to go for CL.

I think EPH has assessment for CL Comprehension called Yue Du Li Jie that is pretty good.

So far she only has 1 CL assessment and it's only 10% done. I'd better start shopping for CL OE Compre books for her. Otherwise, I cannot imagine what she's gonna get for SA2. :nailbite:

We started to give her a complete 1 hour \"do as you like\" time daily - half an hour in the morning and half an hour at night. Not that I am taskmaster, just that like many kids, my dd \"Space-out\" (Daydream) a lot and takes her time to do her stuff.

Hey I do that too for ds. It's called his 'daily time to play any gory computer games he fancies' period. This will be followed by an hr of piano practice to undo the damage that those computer games did to his brain.

Hee hee but I still control her computer time to weekend only.
She can play lego, read books, draw, etc

This is one of dd's Compre books. It's not enough. She is coping well with questions in this book. I am afraid to go higher levels cos I don't want to cause her to lose interest. Furthermore, I think it's more than just practising Compre assessments to score for the OE Compre sections. Rote learning doesn't work in this case. They have to analyse in CHINESE, then express their thoughts out logically and comprehensibly. If these kids are eloquent in Chinese, I believe it's half the battle won.

I cannot imagine how DD is going to handle (H)CL OE Compre in Pri 5 and Pri 6. :scared:

She can play lego, read books, draw, etc[/quote]I dun like my P4 boy to play computer games. Our computer too lousy, hence he complains slow, sys hang, etc. I just told him off the other day when he fussed abt the computer again.

I also think the whatever waves from the electronic devices mess up his mind, he gets agitated easily.

My elder boy only plays an hour of computer game on weekends/hols- an agreement we made since P5/P6. I wish my P4 boy will be like this too :xedfingers:

What is the whole sentence?

I think an adjective is needed to separate 利用 and 时间. Like 利用 precious 时间 or 利用 extra 时间.

We are always using 时间 to do sth, so it does not make sense to write 利用时间
