      CocoNut:
Is it really important to get into good Pri Sch?

Will I want my twins to be in the last few class (In good sch) OR top few class? Furthemore, each of them differ in learning capabilty (My girl is a faster learner than my boy). 😢
I'm also in a dilemma - my DH also said I'm very fickle.. one one hand I have friends and neighbours who tell me must aim for the popular schools on the other hand I'm worried my gals will be under too much stress.. šŸ˜ž

I think in which ever school it also boils down to having good teachers, parents involvement and child's ability and the kids having a balanced life...

hello nuttyjo, congratulations firstly, but can tell us bit more of your balloting experience? were u present??

Yes, we were present. After verifying our child's particulars on the card (used for the ballot) and the list, we waited till all parents are present. Then we were brief of the balloting process. Afterwhich, we were called by reg no. to drop our cards into the box and the balloting begins! When a card is drawn, it was pasted on the white board and concurrently another staff will enter into the computer sys and projected on the screen. That's the whole process....ANXIETY of course and you could see the smiles on the faces when they got a place! And me, still smiling now.... :celebrate:

                    Juying is ok actually.

My daughter is studying there and i found they have quite good teachers.

it could be the distance & the kiasu syndrome that caused Juying to have low applications.

                    Blurmom:
Thanks for Luanee for your advise. Any reason for Juying having such low application ? Are they incompetence in anyway ?
