Think we need some cheerful news here:

      1) A class party next week

      2) a sleepover in sch during the Jun hols TTLT Leadership Prog. Adam Khoo Learning Technologies is engaged to conduct the overnight camp. Amt to pay (by student) is $35, sch subsidised $80.

Anyone's child bn to such camp b4 in sch?
Wow, Jennifer, this is gonna be one exciting June holiday for your DS. :celebrate:

Wow Lizhi, you are making me scared. :nailbite: πŸ˜“ Pri 3 learning Pri 5 work? :scared:

Mine did the Math hub holiday program last year (P3), they covered some P6 stuff too.

Yes, I got the experience from another mum, even her son was P2, but can cope P6's math.

              Jennifer:
I could not help my elder boy at all with some P5 topics. Not easy w/o preparation. Even with my P4 boy, I must revise on my own prior to teaching him (since it has bn some years liao). Definitely not looking forward to teaching him P5 MA.

Confirmed - there are at least 2 HYPY qns in P5 CL papers. Like what Funx3 said, these are qns to score, so must master HYPY. Once they get it, it is a breeze.

Wow, the last 3-4 problem sums in P5 SA1 Paper 2 are really complex. Like Janet, I gave up trying to solve them (my ds got chicken-egg from them!), don't want to kill more brain cells. Any parent keen to take a crack? I intend to copy them down for further reference. So if you are keen, I can type them out onto the forum ...

                2D1N can achieve these?
Hey, must go for this. I heard that this type of activities helps to strengthen the child's portfolio if he/she is applying for DSA πŸ˜‰

Advance learning is not something new. If the child can cope, learning advance is not necessary a bad thing.

Correct, not something new. Most concept can be understood by herself.
