feedback on EB @ Bukit Merah Centra?

Hi All,The impression you give me is, the surrounding area is still under renovation and construction. The noise and the air and the 'nail'. How clean and safe can it be? Then in the first place, the centre should not be open till everything is completed. Don't you think it is dangerous to put yr kids inside? If you love yr kids, you must take all this into consideration. Their health is important.
1. For carpark, imagine when the pool open to public, how jam the carpark will be during the peak hour.
2. With all this facilities, it is still out of bound for the children unless the parents 'pay'.
3. Oh, it is a plus point. Make sure no additional cost.
4. fully Air con to curb air pollution? Imagine HFMD? continue on air-con and result all kids infected with HFMD?
Anyway, most of the fully 'air-con' centre are vulnerable to HFMD unless their window can be open.
Still this centre i would say is worth the $$, even thought there is a bus-interchange beside it. I doubt nearby centre can match the school fee.jo.ong:
hi happydaddy, i don't work there but both my gals are attending the school.
1. For carpark wise, i dun really see any much of \"traffic\" during the peak hours. So far all parents are pretty considerate.
2. Eager Beaver is situated inside the \"swimming pool\". The whole \"swimming pool\" is currently under revamp. There will be gym facility, competitive pool, training pool, eatery corner and I believe, sand area too.
3. The school has their own \"water-play\" which should be ready Q2 or Q3.
It is located just outside the school.
4. Classes are conducted in the aircon classroom and meal will be served at the common area. Two toilet facilities located on both floors.
For those who are interested in the school, I strongly encourage you to take tour at the premise. I dun bring my gals to childcare centre on Saturday when they are at the old premise and they don't want to go too. However, last Saturday, my gals requested to go to new school! We are very much in :!:
Eager Beaver used to be at Safra Mount Faber but move out when the lease ended to the current location at Bukit Merah. My previous experience with them has been good at Mt Faber and some of the teachers that have taught my son are still there and they are very patient with kids. My DS has benefitted a lot from their patience and he is in P2 now.
I think you should talk to Charon to find out more and also visit the location. Let the kids go there and have a feel. Sometimes we might be overly concerned and forgot abt the kids feelings. -
monmon31,
do you send your DS to enrichment class? are they more learn thru playing or academic base? do they prepare the kids well for Pri 1? -
coccomie:
Yes, I only sent him for MT classes only then at Berries World. They have a mixture of both play n aademic to encourage learning. Yes, they do. In fact, i think we parents do get overly worried. P1 is really honeymoon...the tough part is in P2.monmon31,
