      Funx3,

i believe your daughter has very high chance potential to get into either RGSS or NYGH, via DSA. :dancing:

if both these two excellent schools accept your girl via DSA, which one will she most likely choose ? RGSS got Rhythmic gym cum ballet, NYGH doesn't have... NYGH more on Chinese cultural dance. :imcool: 😉
If Can Get CO from Both ....
      It's A HAPPY Problem, Right? *Dreaming .... Dreaming ....* 😉 😉

At the Moment, where the 2 Horsey-Race is Concerned ....
      RGS is Leading ....

      Reason Being :
My Gal Now Very-Very interested in joining their Shooting CCA, in her words, \"Shooting is Awesome, Everyone Should Try it!\"

She Can Continue with Chinese Dance Class on Weekends and Sch RGym Training, So No Need to Drop Either (She Told me When she's Doing Chinese Dance, She Think of Gym .... When She's Doing Gym, She Thinks of Chinese Dance ....  )

      RGS Got Air-Con ClassRm!
She Really Go Round to Peep into the ClassRms during Open House to Both Sch ....

But the Race Situation May Change, What with Majority of Her Best Frens Aspiring to go to NYGH, and Almost None Aiming for RGS ....

But It Still Depends on How she's Being Assessed by the Sch, and if she could be deemed acceptable .... 🙏 🙏

And 2012 Batch is Still Doing O-Level ....

            phankao:

Chinese school students always \"ju gong\". My elder son used to say that the most distinguishing factor was that he \"bowed\" as he greeted. So for DSA interview he went he bowed too.
Good tip for students trying out DSA (the interview part). Whether or not Chinese schools, it is a good mannerism which students observe to Ju-Gong as a form of respect to the panel of judge (s). 🙂

Hi, some information we gather duirng the visit to NYGH:

For CCA in Chinese Dance, they require two days practice per week (on Tuesday and Friday, hopefully not remember wrongly) from 3- 6pm. If there is competition there they will increase the days of training.

                  Recess is one hour.
