I do test my kid in getting him to do grammar worksheet from our side. I found that his concept is all wrong. He can’t even write a proper sentence with good grammar in it. I had to use my old school day method to teach him grammar.I don’t see any improvement in the english when school implementing stellar method. My DS had no issue to reading as he completed advancs phonic before enrolling in P1. What i am worried is his grammar base for English. How to ensure he had a good command of English.

I don’t know how do the rest of the parent think…What i can do now is to send him to enrichment class outside to build his English. I don’t know whether does the school aware of this issue.

I do agree that somehow kids in a way are weak in Grammar & constantly just have to monitor & teach them the right concept. This would be surface out when they comes to Creative Writing (Composition) when they comes to P3 & above. :imdrowning:

Should be today so that the students can return them tomorrow.

Did anyone of you sign your kids up for the UNSW test? I remembered paying for it many months ago but cannot remember the dates of the tests.

You can find out more about it at this url

Actually i don't know the purpose of this assessment but signed up for the fun of it since it wasn't expensive :). I'm not going stress my daughter by buying those test papers to prepare her for the tests.

The form to sign up for this was given out at the beginning of this year.
