      jenlee:
      1) Where in exchange Baht-in Singapore or banks in Bangkok/Bangkok airport?

Airport and hotels do not offer good exchange.

The malls have money changers and there are also those out in the street
ones as well, along the pavement kinds that can offer better rates.
      jenlee:
      2) What are the must buy for women/kids/men that is much cheaper than Singapore?
      Clothing. Shoes. Handicraft. Home furnishings/decor.

PS : The Thais are generally very slim hence the clothes on the racks are
kinda... disgustingly tiny in most places. Some places charge extra $
for bigger sizes of the exact same style. 😛 If you like imitation branded
stuff... down there got a lot!
      jenlee:
      3) What are the must visit for kids (other than Dreamworld & Safari world)?
Pure honey factory. Jewellery/gem stones factory. Cashewnut factory.

We didn't get to go to the Floating Market. Saw that it was quite an
experience but didn't feel it a miss cos our kiddies were small and
at that time our elder daughter was down with stomach flu.

We drove up to Pattaya and went to Coral Island. Very clean beach!
Can see your feet in the waters, take picture with fishes in the water
and go para-sailing! For girls, can have braids done at the beach too!

        Just came back from Bkk…

It’s shopping shopping all the way.

I used to go Bkk 4-5 times a year sometime back but havent been there for about 1.5 years… nothing much has changed except I can no longer find 199 Baht shoes!! And cos I went during their New Year when everyone pour water everywhere, many shops weren’t open till the second last day of my trip…

This trip went to Chinatown for good food 2 nights… and one of the night went to this seafood village and Sukumvit Soi 24. Please don’t go there cos it’s expensive and food so-so only…

Huahin is a very relaxed place. I had been there twice and think it is much better than Phuket which is too commercialised with all the angmohs. You have to take into account the journey from bkk to huahin which is at least 3 hrs (with no stop). There is a shopping mall and 2 nite markets if I’m not wrong, a beach near the Sofitel hotel where you can ride the ponies. There are lots of shops offering massages mani & pedicures. Plenty of nice seafood and pizzas & spaghatti. You go there just to relax and do nothing else.
