My First Skool (former NTUC Childcare)

Have you personally visited the center?

I feel that there are too many children enrolled = very chaotic.
Have you considered the newly set up sparkletots at blk 146?
I’m not too sure but have a better feeling about it.
Fewer kids and more open.
My first skool is quite "exclusive" the one above NTUC (if that’s the one you’re toking about) can’t see what’s going on.

Hello, ya first Skool is super crowded, yes am referring to the one above Ntuc. Sparkle tots I think full house too.


Ya I am wondering so many pple enroll theirs kids there but strangely no one ever feedback on it.

Maybe the parents too busy to come on forums/dunno about forums/ simply fine the center acceptable nothing too good or bad to comment.


There are new my first skools set up have you considered the others or maybe other areas near toa payoh?

Hi, am looking for Childcare.


Am thinking if its another branch of first skool, then it will be no different to continue staying at the blk 192 branch.

Am considering others school but seems like not many in toa payoh.

Oh your girl is ALREADY in the My first skool branch at 192?


But actually is not true that changing centers will not make a difference. There maybe minimum change as it’s all under the same company but the teachers make a huge difference.

What’s the main reason you are looking for another center?
Can’t be better environment since My first skool at 192 is quite nice i must say.
Changing bcos of teachers/curriculum??

My main reason of changing is

1) curriculum
2) i feel blk 192 very big, i feel its very noisy and i think children tends to fall sick often with crowded school.

Yep true true but i think all the my first skool centers are like that.

Not many centers in toapayoh how about sparkletots? Or the center at the hub?(not sure if it’s for staff only though)

ya hub is reserve for staff so usually they dun have for public, i call up and they are very unfrenly, the feeling i get is "dun bother to even put name on waitlist" attitude.

Oh. Then i guess no choice? Unless you consider other centers outside toa payoh… If not just let her continue with current CC is she happy there?Is she learning something everyday? If she is i guess that’s satisfactory. What’s most important is she is happy going to schoool everyday. If she changes child care center and things don’t turn out well she could start dreading going to school and it will be hard to transfer back to My first skool since it’s fairly popular
