Her initial ACS rant was partly fueled by the Principal of the school firing her.

The rant was a distraction - the reality was that she was stalking a 14-year-old boy in that primary school’s basketball team. She had posted about her feelings for this 14-year-old on her blog which she later made private. Her post made it very uncomfortable for me as a parent to read, especially as she was then a relief teacher in the school and had access to the boy.

The ACS rant was a concern not because she’s right about it or not, but because of her influence over the class she taught - was she even teaching is another question, because her blog posts appear that she was spending time in the school stalking the basketball team and ‘sharing’ her warped values to the students.

Her other rant about Mr Wong, of course, is because she claims a relation in PRC that is the "Head of Sichuan Provincial TV Network, the largest television network after CCTV". Perhaps she thinks of using this relation to create a scandal for PAP? In reality, Mr Wong the grassroot leader is probably too small a fry in the PAP organisation.

She really has delusions of grandeur.

personality disorder is ... scary. Sometimes, she imagine she is A, so she behave like A. Other times, she thought she is B, so she behave like B. So, is she A or B ? she not sure, also got confused ... close family members around her feel traumatic.

          sound like Dr Jackal

          Dr Jekyll, you mean..

Buds, I think this girl may have 'borderline personality disorder' as described by a psychiatrist in an interview. Which means she probably can't control her behavior and emotions. she may need treatment or it may get worse...

Yes. I know. I read too. But disorders aside, her blog posts were a totally
different story. With or without disorders, the attention seeking part of
her was definitely there. She craves the limelight.

Anyway, I think MOE shld be more careful in selecting their relief teachers...
That's for sure. First it was highest level of porno one scholar got entangled
with of small kids at that too! :faint: And now this.. guess the personality is
smart to change itself to the guai one during MOE interview... hence cannot
tell. Like Noble Nerd said, all this not having gone into the part of the
              actual teaching yet..

yes, that porno guy was terrible!

caught involved with pornography with young kids, as young as … K2 kindergarten girls. He’s a dangerous man! Thank God he’s out of the MOE circle!

they should have \"trial\" period for the new teachers

I am sure there is but it is hard to pin down a person with 'hidden agenda' though but once discovered, the culprit should be held accountable and their service terminated immediately before further damage is done

maybe that is why they have penalty if contract is terminated... the sum is quite big though[/quote]but for relief teacher, maybe no penalty at all that's why she can be so xiao chang

Wow, really? Then any tom rick n harry can be relief teacher... Omg...

Not every Tom Dick or Harry wants to be relief teacher.... pay is low (you only get paid for classroom teaching per hour basis) and doing ad hoc teaching from class to class covering absent teachers and got tons of homework to mark (imagine 40 pieces of work and not getting paid). Giving tuition is better than working as relief teacher in school. :siam:
