Hi
i called RMPS reg PV(2006 born). they told they will call all PV applicants by nov'11 for an interview. Then v have to complete 40 hours between Jan - 30thJun '12. Is this is the usual one?
Huh are you sure do PV from Jan 2012 to 30 Jun 2012? :siao:
Born in 2006 the child have to be in P1 in 2012. Like that mean do PV when the child get in? -
NataTL:
I'm afraid that born in 2006 the PV all would be close by 2010.Either Jan 2010 or Jun 2010 is the closing date. Don't worry, GESPS normally ncan get into without balloting. :evil:Hi, For GNS Primary, need to do PV? if so, is it still open for 2006 kid?

Following copied from \"Choosing and Evaluating Primary Schools\" thread:...
Very good analysis, like that would aim CHIJ (Kellock) in future P1 registration! :scared: -

Titank, this year's registration is for those born in 2005. Those born in 2006 will register next year, which means they will only be in P1 in 2013.Huh are you sure do PV from Jan 2012 to 30 Jun 2012? :siao:

Dear all,
Am a newbie in this forum. My son is born in 2006 and now am in a dilemma… Dunno whether to choose from River Valley or Radin Mas. PV closed for River Valley but Radin Mas is still opened till end June.
Is it a must to do PV? Radin Mas is within 1km from my home. But River Valley is within 2km (very difficult to go in).
Pls advise. Thanks! -
:welcome:
Perhaps you would like to give yourself an introduction at the Newbie thread? It's a SOP in KSP.com.

If you can, try to perform PV in RMPS, even though you are within 1 km from the school. It will save you the stress and heartache when it comes to registration.Am a newbie in this forum. As for RVPS, since the PV registration is close, there is nothing you can do. -
hahaha… ok…
Ehhh… Am Crystal, 29 this year. Have 2 boys, elder one was born in 2006 and the younger one in 2010. Staying in bukit merah area. Am a PTSAHM.
This site is really useful! Should have came in sooner and maybe will get a chance for my son to enter RVPS.
So I shouldnt try for RVPS already right? My hubby was still telling me that we should take the gamble. If cant then we will settle for RMPS. But after coming into this site, i realise that RMPS is also very popular. Haiz… am really not very keen to do VP. But i heard from elsewhere that VP also wont guarantee a placing… I thought birth rate is dropping. Why still got problem going into a neighbour pri sch? -

When birth rate drops, the number of classes are also reduced. Thus competition is always there
Welcome to the rat race
