need some advise, what type of mop ur maid is using to mop floor? i used 3m those type with manueover flat head type with one piece of clothe. but maid very rough, broke the head when mop underneath sofa/cabinet. she now use old towel to mop. if under furniture, she use the stick (old one) and tie the old tower to mop… but for new maid i thk she may not know how to do it. any suggestion? stick type if go under furniture and they are rough will knock on our furniture… u thk so? mine got some part kena knocked.

My maid uses the same type of mop. So far ok, one was broken by ex-ex-maid, but that was old already. I see the current maid attaching a towel to a stick and mopping under the sofa…so quite the same. You’ll just have to coach her until she’s used to it.

I generally ask my maid to mop with hands for under sofa/bed etc... I also have problem breaking not the mop but the sofa/bed getting spoiled :p:

Quite sad. But is it worth it to leave behind her child and husband? From the article, looks like the english proficiency test is very impt to them as failing it would mean more debts for them...
