$4.5 mil for being in the cage. why not? His $3 mil as a foreign minister + $15K MP allowance already gone with the wind.

When would be the date? Would it be like GE where stage rally? Again another public holiday & hope do not have to work. :rahrah:

Don't think we get to vote like GE.

Likely to be in August, but exact date don't know. I've never voted for a Spore president in my life so far, so not sure if it's gonna be like the GE.

The polling will be like the GE.. just that the rallies and atmosphere maybe different..

PH shd be on the cards

And unlike GE, very little is known abt the candidates.. maybe those who got info can share share so that we can make an informed choice

Rite now, my view is that GY initially said he's not running for EP.. if now U-turn, could be bcoz someone asked him to.. in that case, will he still be \"effective\"?

\"Mr Yeo said this in an update on his Facebook page Monday morning.
\"In case the Presidential election writ is issued while I'm away, some young friends will collect the eligibility forms for me,\" said Mr Yeo....\"

Hmmm... young friends? I think the whole younger generation thing has been over-emphasised... as if the other SG generations are transparent liao... of is it just me?

i've got a feeling in the end he will run. there has been quite strong support for him to be president since ge.

why all like to say young generation ah?

I guess they are trying to appeal to the younger generation who are mostly netizens? especially after the ge experiences.
