Actually in the beginning when she first came, my maid uses hand to mop the floor. Now, without asking me she uses mop. And she dare complain she is bored!!?? Anyhow, I closed my eyes to this since she has been good so far. I think very soon I will have to look for another maid if she doesn’t want to continue by year end. Trying to find out if Mizo maid is good.

My maid uses the stick type. Yes, broke one in under 3 months. Only sweep under sofa when being told. Raining can keep clothes. Rain stopped need to tell her to bring out to sun. Day in day out stand and daydream. Can cut corners cut. Got corners to cut, cut. :stupid: When it comes to eating, no need initiative, very auto.

over the weekend, i ask my maid whether she wants to continue to work for 2 years, else i will proceed to get new maid. she in April told my mum she missed her son so, likely she wont continue. now, she said she wanted to continue but she wants to go home first… i told her the most 2 weeks… she said have to confirm with her mum… how do u all extend the contract? her passport too need to extend right?

Is your maid passport going to expire soon? If yes, then you need to renew for her. But it will take some time to proceed the renewal.

My maid just renewed her contract with me but I didnt get to renew her passport in time..so her WP is only renewed for 6 months. I will renew her passport for her soon before she goes back for home leave. Her passport needs to be valid at least 7 mths in order to come back to Spore. When her WP expires in 6 mths time, i will renew for her again with her new passport info.

Actually I heard is quite easy to do the WP renewal yourself. You just need to log into MOM’s website to renew but before that you need to purchase those insurance. I didn’t do it on my own. I went through the agency to get it done. They charge abt $50 to process the WP renewal and collection of the WP.


For the contract, I just use the one previouslyfrom the agency and type out a new one (delete and add my own terms and new salary) and get my maid to sign.
