Need to top up $130+ for packet milk??? Why not serve the milk in cups instead if they do not encourage bottle feeding?? Hm… Well, the additional $60 for speech & drama is still reasonable. But then add both and the monthly fees together is around $1,174. It is quite on par with Mindchamps, Pat School & Lorna Whiston and other higher end preschools…

What other centres have you visited? Care to share? I am thinking of visiting Little Skool House at Buona Vista CC.

I’ve checked out Safari House by Zoophonics at Dover too, my son currently is attending their enrichment class on Sunday. Their fee is $1100 before subsidy, 7am-5pm. For extension time to 7pm, you need to top up $100 more. The reason I didn’t choose them is because they don’t allow me to defer my son’s enrollment to next year (I got early bird rates and if I were to defer to next year then I’ve to pay the full rate).

To pay the full rate then I might as well send my son to Agape Little Uni @One North since they charge about the same rate but Agape is fully air-conditioned whereas Safari House is not, and my son is used to aircon environment.

Currently, I’m still looking around for other CCC. Let me know after you have viewed Little Skool House at Buona Vista CC k. TIV!

Have you checked out The Kindercorner 2 at Science Park 2 (along Pasir Panjang Road). Heard that it’s quite good. Many of the parents work in the nearby NUH or are professionals working in the nearby Science Park.

Have spoken to the Principal last year and she seems very passionate about her work, and very caring of the kids.

Any comment on Pearlbank Kindergarten at Pasir Panjang?

My boy studied there since he was 4 years old. He is in K2 now, and will go to Pri 1 next year. I like the small class size, and very low student to teacher ratio.

The principal and teachers are also very receptive and responsive to parents' feedback and concerns. For example, when my boy was 4+ years, I was concerned that he was not reading yet (I was a bit too kiasu I think, looking back now). Afterwards, the teachers gave my boy special focus on reading (I think one of the teachers gave him one-to-one coaching), and in half a year's time, my boy was reading. Recently, I was concerned that my boy's \"Chinese standard\" may not be good enough for P1 next year, and after my feedback, I noticed that the Chinese teachers gave my boy special coaching (one of them even started him on Hanyu Pinyin now). In terms of Maths, they are learning how to add and subtract in the hundreds, simple multiplication and division now.

What I like about the school is that it does not only focus on the academic, but also broadening the children's General Knowledge. Just last week, my boy came back and told me that they learnt about the universe, stars, black holes, etc. in class for the week.

it's good that the sch takes in parents feedback and try their best to help the students. btw, you mentioned on small ratio, how many kids are there in a class and any idea if there is sch bus provided? i need to look at the logisitics as well as i do not stay within walking distance. last qn, is the sch fees still at $1050 per term as stated in the sch website?
