hi my gal also went for the GAT test in Nanyang 2weeks ago with a few of her classmate. non was call up for interview yet. anyway my gal didn’t finish all the question she only did 32.

Were there 32 qns? i forgot alrdy...but my girl also didn't finish about 8 due to lack of time.

They did say they'll only be conducting the interview from 27-31 July. I don't think you can really conclude if it's better to be called for interview or not because if you're called for an interview you still stand a chance at being offered a place. On the other hand, if you haven't been called for an interview it could either mean you've been given a confirmed place or rejected. So it's hard to say. Just wait for their call or email. Good luck!

Hv yours been called up?... Anyway my girl classmate mother asked school...the incharge says \"No interviews does not mean no successful\" so i finger crossed. FYI -

What is GAT?
The General Ability Test is an academic test administered by the secondary schools during the Direct School Admission exercise in Singapore. Each school sets its own test. The purpose of the GAT is for the independent schools to screen eligible students for Direct School Admission before the PSLE examination. Successful students are offered places in top secondary schools if they passed the GAT and other related assessments and interviews. Top secondary schools like Raffles Institution , Raffles Girls School and Anglo-Chinese School Independent conduct GATs every year during the annual DSA exercise.
