For some of these domestic and foreign workers, moral education is sadly lacking. No moral obligation to care for their baby too as they view the baby as bringing "trouble" to them - afterall they do not desire the baby and it just happen due to a moment of lust.

I wish our Singapore law can be more strict to send the message that we do not tolerate such behaviour in our country. Leniency can only bring about more cases of such folly.

if she is a prostitute, isn’t she supposed to be on pill or something? How could she get herself pregnant? Not a very professsional prostitute.

          nowadays scary to hire maid…

you dont know if they have a hidden agenda / motive to come to SG to be a prostitute in the first case, and work as a household maid as secondary duty only ?

perhaps even before they come over, they doing this old trade already … no wonder she abandon & attempt to kill the baby. Ruthless!

poor baby... he's in my blessing to find a good family who will love him dearly.

i wonder how come the maid's employer doesnt know her \"part-tme job\" and also her pregnancy? plus if she pregnant how she do her \"part-time job\"???
she ran away after working for 4 months with a local family and overstayed for 270+ days moving around and finally worked in Geylang
so the employer was actually not at fault for not knowing about her pregnancy. She did tried to ask her embassy for help but they turned her away because she did not have a passport.

This maid ran away after 4 months...I really pity her employer bcos the bond will be forfeited :moneyflies: , and of course the innocent baby boy. These maids don't know how much money it costs to bring them here...not happy, run away or ask for change of employer.

I think employers suffer more at the hands of maids than vice versa.
The amt of money we have to spend before bringing them in and the problems/trouble maids give when they arrive :stompfeet: Pity them and these maids will climb on your head. Strict with them, the maids feed you with saliva or soap powder. Worse still, they murder the employer and get off with imprisonment for a life lost claiming to be of unsound mind.
