their train system will be easy to navigate after one ride (just remember the train line and colour). People are super friendly. \"Mucha\" is train-line, normally people call Taipei Zoo.

Zoo is only $3, but beside Panda, Gorilla, Camel, I find Singapore Zoo more interactive. If time constraint, will not recommend.

I will recommend the Mao-Kong Gondola (at Zoo station). This is cable car up to the hills ! $2 only. At hilltop, enjoy desert and tea.
(if too windy, avoid !)

Baby Boss (kids $45, adult $30) will take u one day either 10am-3pm, or 10am-6pm. Highly recommended.

Yes, Baby Boss City is highly recommended. The first time my ds went there was when he was 3 or 4. He enjoyed it very much even though he did not understand any Mandarin back then. Last Dec (he was 6), we went there again and he had another enjoyable day there (his Mandarin is quite good now :)) ... he was just asking me a few days ago when we could go there again ... hehe

@yqyq - u want to consider diy? Taiwan is easy to navigate. Those 9D8N Taiwan tour is very tiring... I believe you need two separate trips to enjoy Taiwan


@nani - My Pri2 boy can still enjoy, but he was the \"biggest\" boy in group !
I guess kids above 9 or 10 might not find the \"jobs\" fun (museums and farms would be more interesting for bigger kids)

Hi I went last Nov with my 3 kids, 8, 7 and 18 mths then. I brought my helper because we wanted to go night market and it is not advisable to bring toddlers as they are very crowded.

Can bring your 2 kids to baby boss. The toddler can go in free but she can't play the activities. There is a toddler indoor playground or gym next to Babyboss which is quite fun. My boy played inside while my older kids roleplay in babyboss. But as the 2 places are separate, you and your hubby may need to 'split up' to care for both. The indoor gym is very reasonable only ~sgd12 for whole day.

I also recommend window of china or Xiao Ren Guo as the rides are for younger kids. My boy sat on the circuit car with my hubby. They have bumper car for below 6 yo and many other rides. My kids love Doraemon and they have live performance hourly and phototaking session.

Zoo is good if you want to see panda. The ticket was v cheap compare to SG zoo. If I recall it is around Sgd3 per pax. We didn't stay long as it was weekend and vv crowded. Can take cable car from near the zoo up to Maokong.

I went Hualien and book a cab to bring us around. V convenient. Food are chinese so kids adjust well. The nite market at hualien is not crowded so you can bring your gal.
Taiwan is very kid friendly. All the Mrt has huge nursing rooms.

Yes, the Jiu Fen and Yeliu are worth visiting. However, when I was at Jiu Fen, it was raining cats and dogs. I was so disappointed. As for the Yeliu, the stones are really unique. Anybody been to Taroko National Park? Also beautiful if you enjoy walking.
