what sort of "advanced foresight "thinking and planning has been going on for the past two terms?
all WHOLE PAP elite should have bear responsibility for the "over payment "in view of such non executive role.
i have a more favourable impression of the late President Mr wee kim wee and his wife, who seemed to me to be more people-orientated

Yes, I have high regards for the late Mr Wee too. Had met him in person at an event, very approachable and no air at all. Mr Ong Teng Cheong was not too bad oso, quite people-oriented. Can't say the same of the current one though. And yes, $4m seems like an exorbitant amt for even a president. But as Mr SR Nathan would have told you, quote him: \"Although I've been quiet, I have been doing work.\" unquote.


Btw, he is coming out with a memoire, wonder if it's a \"tell all\" book... :nailbite:
