hmm... micollh, when u say ask them to help wif bake/cook simple food.. to wat extend do they help u wif?

my kids love to help, but mummy aws forbid them as I m afraid they'll mess up the plc.. heh
e.g i make muffin, i will ask my DD to scoop the mixture into the cupcake cups.. and when i make sandwiches, i will ask her to help me put the tomatoes, cheese, shreded chicken.. then cover then i will slice the sandwich then she eats, she is very happy as i think she feels it's her \"art-work\"..

do it on table.. with a mat on,.. so the mess is easy to clear.

we usually do it on dining table, my DS only 15 month-old, he is not tall enough to see what we do.. hee.. usually, he is playing other things in the living room when we do such activities, or when he come and see us, i just feed him some food, and he is fine ..he can be bribed by food easily..

LKVM, precisely! Tatz y tis days, if i wanna bake, i'll do it at night when all of them r in bed.. or if not, during their nap during weekends, n DS doesnt nap anymore, n only DS help.. a bit unfair right? but tis beats having to :frustrated: pull out all my hair..

I dunno how to bake…but would love to start soon else my oven will be a white elephant. Thinking of signing up some baking class during my maternity leave.

The activities we usually do at home is pizza making. I get those ready made pizza base and my kids will add their own toppings. Other than that, we will swim or cycle around our place.
