Hi,Hi,
IJust want to check with you all - For Holy Innocent Primary , is it not advisable to put my boy there if my boy is just average in his Kindergarden ?

I personally think it's too early to judge a kids ability at K2. Wanted to share that my son used to be a big challenge during K2. Cannot really read, cannot remember spelling, cannot recognise chinese words,etc... The thot of him gg to P1 is a nitemare. I set a objective that if he does not get call up for learning support or extra tuition in school, I am happy.
Probably he becomes more mature in P1 this year, he is coping fine in school. He scored band 1 results for all his subjects during SA1 in a SAP school. Also, we know that he feels proud when he does well so he is sort of more self-motivated now.
I have faith that if we give them consistent support at home, the children will not do too badly. So I don't think being an average child does not mean your son should not try for HIPS if there is a good chance. -

Hi Zhen,
my friends son is in YCK pri. complains a lot of that school saying no proper coaching and no manners among the kids. anyways my personal opinion would be that as long as your kid works hard, no matter which school he is in he will definitely cucceed. good luck. -
I am considering to register my boy in Monfort Junior but would like to listen to other’s comments on this school. Wonder why it’s popularity rate is so low?

friends son is in montfort in p5. she says no prob with the school except for a bit of bullying. she has even registered her ds2 this year under phase 1.

Thank you for your feedback! Anymore comments? Worried that not enough students, the teachers might be demoralised to teach…

With less students enrolled in P1, do you know if the number of classes is reduced or the number of classes is kept the same with smaller class sizes? A smaller class would definitely be more beneficial to the students as the students will get more attention. Don’t you think?

FYI. Just found this forum that discusses Montfort...
