      Hi KiasuGrandMaster III.

I did asked my friend whose sons are studying there.
She mentioned to me that FMPS cather more to people who stay near Bouna Vista.
Which means my daughter has no chance in getting into the school. 😢
Therefore i choose Gan Eng Seng, but i am not so sure whether the school are good or not.

      please help to advise..... :?:

        Hello all mummies

I have a girl whom is born 2008. Hence now currently also planning for her P1 school. I am staying with my parents house due to personal reason ,which is 1-2KM away from Shuqun Pri and Rulang Pri School. My mother-in-law house is also in Jurong, which is within 1KM away from West Grove Pri. Hence now I have a delima which school should i choose? ?In fact both sides my girl will be taken care of by someone. can anyone advise me? Me also need to start planning about PV thing too…

          Hi cadencemummy,

          Have you seen this?
          http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/jurong-west

Assuming that your IC is reflecting your parents' home address, you will have to get into PV of Rulang to have a chance for Phase 2B. In the event that you do not PV and apply under Phase 2C, based on past history, there is no hope to ballot for those staying more than 1km.

As for Shuqun, if you do PV, your chances are definitely much better. Based on 2010, there is also no chance for balloting in Phase 2C for those staying 1-2km.

Unless you are staying in you MIL's place, but intend to let your child stay there, then you will have to make a statutory declaration for grandparents' as caregiver. In this case, you will be put under the 1-2km distance despite the actual distance. For this distance, also no chance to ballot for West Grove.

So best to do PV in your school of choice.

1st of all, its your IC stated at which address. If is Shuqun and Rulang, it will need to ballot with 1km under P2C unless u r PV as Rulang ballot outside 2km last year. If is West Grove, it will need to ballot within 1km under P2B & P2C due to last year record. Maybe u want to try to become RC member under Jurong GRC... Just a suggestion

              Dear KiasuGrandMaster & BlueBelt

Many thanks for yr evaluation. Currently my IC address is my MIL address, I have yet change despite me staying with my parent’s house. It seem that logically Shuqun Pri would be a better choice for me.

Oh to become RC member need what sort of requirement? It will also fall under phase 2B right?

                Dear cadencemummy,

I'm RRMummy and I think the bluebelt you are referring to is mummy of 3 😉

OIC. But rightly, address that you use for registration should be the address where your child is staying and the address on your IC should also be reflecting the place you are actually staying.

For details on RC and Phase 2B, have you read this? http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/enhancing-your-chances-getting-your-child-your-school-choice

Anyone can help me to evaluate between Anderson and Teck Ghee in ang mo kio. My concern is more on the holistic area such as character building and the mannerism culture
