you may not get into Phase 2C under Jurong west pri school.mayb u can try Phase 2A at Rulang ba.but actually if u change ur mind u can go for Phase 2C under Jurong West.But you will forfeit ur place in Phase 2A in rulang if i am not wrong

hmmm true but coz my main concern is tat the kid has to take school bus and erm.. im abit off tat idea.. if i wan Jurong West den i wil prob have to aim for PV? but den again the 2 schools are comparable rite?

I believe that I am one of those who are staying within 1km of Rulang who have not registered because I am still thinking about the best options.

I have sort of decided already. Register on Fri morning for Rulang (ballot for within 1km) and if unsuccessful, maybe try for Shuqun or Juying (since there were nice comments about Juying in earlier posts).

Any advice if I should just register for Shuqun at 2C and anyone has feedback on Shuqun? Thanks.

should be ba.anyone who is more than 1km and try for it is complete suicide.darn it.if there are 150 ppl applying for it, i looking at 33% chance of getting into the school.so sian.i really have no choice.tat is the school nearest to me.shuqun 2nd nearest.if cannot get in,really duno how.beco shuqun normally occupied by Phase 2C.

Yes, Shuqun will have its vacancies filled up by Phase 2C and may even require balloting for those beyond 2km. Do not use it as a 2nd choice if you are trying for Rulang.

Alternatively, why not go for Shuqun in Phase 2C? A bird in hand is worth more than 2 in the bush.

I am not familiar with Shuqun . I'm only doing technical analysis based on popularity trends of schools. Only http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4451 can provide you with details of what's happening in school.

i think not all applicants in rulang are within 1 km since the receptionist said the number of applicants are more than 51 out of all applicants!! I assume some would be outside 1 km
