        LOLMum:
a walk up bukit timah hill follow by a hearty breadfast at nearby shops?

:? In what way is this a present or celebration? 😄

a one to one or two leisure (might be a bit hard on those who first try it) walk, small talk and a good cuppa of coffee to break the ice (if any), cement the good relationship and bit of exercise for the old folks.

otherwise for all celebrations, it is always makan with so many other people, commercial or diy gifts or $$$ in red packets - kinda expected, non thrilling boring ways to celebrate :snooze:

Another possibility if weather is good…a picnic cum kite flying at marina barrage.

or if u donch want to travel to & fro too much, then maybe a walk down labrador park in the morning, relax by vivo for lunch, movie or plain shopping (there’s even water features there for the kids to run ard), then evening go for a walk at sentosa, resorts world festive hotel. bound to be lots of activities for the whole family…

maybe bring them to Universal Studios, so that it would not be MY BIGGEST REGRET.

                  :siam: 😉
