A Community Support Award of 1000KPs has been given to tianzhu for:
\"Helping Parents and students solve PSLE Maths and Science problems for the past years up to 16 June 2011\"
Citation by ksi for http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/users/tianzhu:
For his interesting ways of presenting all the solution to help children like Math better. He takes great pain in matching the problem to the pictures he present plus sharing his wealth of knowledge in Math which he acquired while coaching his own son for PSLE 1-2 years ago? Now he is merely helping other children.
Supported by:
Pen88n: They have opened my eyes to Maths questions and solution, and thanks to their sharing, I am able to grasp Maths much better and build DS foundation for Maths.
Brenda10: Tianzhu has been helping parent like us to solve the Maths and Science related question. His wonderful presentation has really deliver the very clear picture to the children.
We thank tianzhu for his contributions to KiasuParents.com and also the recommender and seconders in supporting her citation.
PS. tianzhu does not have a thread in the Newbies section and well-wishers should PM him instead. Thank you. -

Citation by ksi for http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/users/Dharma:
I enjoy Dharma's sharing of his short and crisp solution and again he is contributing even though his dd already graduated from PSLE 2 years ago.

I second the nomination for ridcully
ridcully has always helped us to verify is our children’s working acceptable whenever we have problem on ‘Synthesis and Transformation’. -
Brenda10:
Yes, Me too - I second the nomination for Daddy Ridcully - He has helped to answer many doubts about English especially on the topic \"Synthesis and Transformation\". :celebrate:I second the nomination for ridcully

Yes!! Ridcully got the awards(Brenda and Champion) too! kpo me....

More kpo...Ridcully also has no newbie intro thread... -
I support the nomination of MathIzzzfun and ridcully.
I look forward to the ‘model solutions’ posted by MathIzzzfun. I feel that most parents here are more familar with the algebra method which may not be the way our children are taught in schools. MathsIzzzfun’s solutions allow us to understand the model method and hence better coach our children should they have any difficulty in Maths.
As for daddy ridcully, he not only provides answers to the various questions regarding to the English language, he also gives very clear explanations as to why certain answers are wrong. -
ksi:
I would like to second the recommendation for maid, however not just for what she offered in the baking thread.Ok Chief, let me attempt again:
Chief, I would like to recommend the following people for their contribution
for sharing baking and cooking tips
7. 25hourmaid
25hourmaid - While many shared recipes and know-how of a dish or cake or bread, I believe maid goes beyond by compiling the baking needs shops information for the baking community.
I think most of us forgot that she painstakingly compiled the COP for Secondary School intake for the last 3 years (ie. until it's time for Sec School enrollment again). Furthermore, she had offered her time and knowledge to answer queries from parents regarding Secondary school selections. I believe she should be recognised for these effort.

BigDevil:
Alamak, ksi and BigD, thanks for the recommendation. Merely sharing my passion in baking though I am no \"ShiFu\" and as for the PSLE answers, well, like I said before, was merely sharing my own experience and what I know about the selection of schools. :oops:I would like to second the recommendation for maid, however not just for what she offered in the baking thread.
