Adults let kids pee in MRT train stations

isnt peeing into the gap very dangerous? how difficulty can it be to just bring the kid to a toilet or a nearby drain since already on the station…

in my opinion. i think it’s stupid and uncivilized for the parent to allow the child to do just then and there.

There is a difference between emergency and non-emergency. If it is not an emergency, it is uncivilised, however, why would sane adults want to trouble themselves on a train to let a child pee into the plastic bag if it is not an emergency and with everyone staring? :?in my opinion. i think it's stupid and uncivilized for the parent to allow the child to do just then and there.

I agree. If it's emergency (the kid can no longer hold his pee), it's better to let the kid pee into a plastic bag/bottle etc rather than peeing onto the floor or groove.

There was once a mother at a playgroup who kept having her son pee into a cup(with screw-top cover, lah), but...one fine day, the unimaginable happened. I ran after my 1+yo daughter and tripped over the cup that she had YET to cover. AAARGH. I've never let any of my boys pee into a cup or bag or whatever. Always bring them to the toilet. Or outside drain. -
