      Oppsgal:
:rotflmao: What if the train suddenly stop and the bag of urine fell?

There was once a mother at a playgroup who kept having her son pee into a cup(with screw-top cover, lah), but...one fine day, the unimaginable happened. I ran after my 1+yo daughter and tripped over the cup that she had YET to cover. AAARGH. I've never let any of my boys pee into a cup or bag or whatever. Always bring them to the toilet. Or outside drain.

When in Rome, do what the Romans do.

I was referring to the FTs as quoted by oppsgal... What I meant was if these FTs are in SGP, they should jolly well follow our law here and not do what they used to do back in their hometown...

That's what I meant by \"When in Rome, do what the Romans do\". 😉

                  ksi:
Actually I have a different view.

If they are using plastic bags for such urgent matters, I think it is fine cos rare incident can occur....just like someone wanting to vomit on the train, if a plastic bag is pulled out I would appreciate it alot. So I hope SMRT will not put up a signboard for \"no vomitting on trains\"

As for the one who pee-d into the groove, that one is clearly not right as it is an act of vandalism.....I suppose a generic sign for no \"vandalism\" suffice.
I had the same thought too. Better in a plastic than accident on the floor. Am hopping they threw the plastic and its content in a proper manner......

A definite no no too in the other instance

If next time smell urine at public places, better look around n not step into a pool of urine since there are such inconsiderate people around!

Don’t know what values the adult is teaching the kid.

The peeing into the groove could also be an unknown source of danger:

I doubt our MRT system is like that, but if there is some similarity to those trams in HK (where there is electricity powering the trams/trains), and there are power cables underneath the tracks/grooves, if the urine touches those power, the kid could in theory be electrocuted…

Tough job for the MRT pple…
