Not necessarily. I've a Gucci briefcase. The leather was peeling after only 3 years and I discarded it. I should have gone back to them for a replacement. But my YSL bag from 20 years ago is sill as good as new. The gold chain and gold logo didn't change colour or tarnish at all.

Yup. The thread from my Prada bag came off after a few months while my Chanel 2.55 which I bought 15 years ago still looks brand new. Nothing tarnished and nothing faded.... šŸ˜‰

          Yes, it is. šŸ˜„
It's from many seasons ago and marked down quite a lot. I have yet to use it after more than 3 years. May be able to sell it as a vintage collection and make some profit from it some day.

Anyway, plenty of good buys in the US. The designer items, especially clothes, are cheaper than the non branded ones here. My best buy in the clothes department is a 3 piece Calvin Klein skirt suit for US$29.

Very hard to shop in Singapore.

I was about to tell you my friend paid US$100 for a Burberry Trench-coat (which to me is a steal) when I saw your second last sentence! That's really a good deal! You got it from San Francisco? I never seem to be able to find such deals when I travel for holidays. Maybe I went in the wrong season. :stupid:

All over US. I shop at factory outlets as well as places like Macy's, Bloomingdale, Saks Fifth Avenue and Norstrom, or the boutiques. But I've never seen a US$100 Burberry Trench-coat. I got a BeBe one for about that price though. I think that was at Sacremento.

Sometimes shopping depends on luck. You got to be at the right place at the right time.

Yes, you are right... It's the timing... I love Macy's, Bloomingdale, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom too. Unfortunately, I've never been to a factory outlet in the States before... 😢 How sad! I'd love to visit one.

Can you imagine, Boston has several factory outlets, but I didn't manage to visit even one. :stupid:
