Me too! Other than the 2.55 that DH bought for me 15 years ago, I paid for the rest of my handbags. -

maybe I am a little \"suaku\" here. Actually I never heard of all the above brands except bebe. :yikes:All over US. I shop at factory outlets as well as places like Macy's, Bloomingdale, Saks Fifth Avenue and Norstrom, or the boutiques. But I've never seen a US$100 Burberry Trench-coat. I got a BeBe one for about that price though. I think that was at Sacremento.

I think Coach is only very much cheaper if you go to the factory outlets. The past seasons ones are usually marked down quite a bit. At the malls, though it's still cheaper than Singapore, it's not all that fantastic.ya....the banded bags prices here are on high markup.
US$5.99.....wow....i thot my eyes are playing trick on me, there's really a big steal.
i luv coach bags too, i get my SIL who are staying in US to buy for me.....but not that cheap leh

Augmum:
Have you tried Oregon? That's the Americans' shopping haven as there's no sales tax there. So everything there is cheaper than at other places in US.
absolutely agree...... esp designers items (clothes/bags)....rosemummy:
Anyway, plenty of good buys in the US.
The designer items, especially clothes, are cheaper than the non branded ones here. My best buy in the clothes department is a 3 piece Calvin Klein skirt suit for US$29.
Very hard to shop in Singapore.

You really should go. But may be a little difficult to get there as most are in the outskirts. You can get really good deals there, esp from Coach. I got stuff like $3 tops from Gap from such places.
Yes, you are right... It's the timing... I love Macy's, Bloomingdale, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom too. Unfortunately, I've never been to a factory outlet in the States before...rosemummy:

How sad! I'd love to visit one.
Can you imagine, Boston has several factory outlets, but I didn't manage to visit even one. :stupid: -

Haha. I pay for all my bags too. They don't cost that much. But DH pays for my jewellery and watches. :lol:Augmum:

Oh what a pity I missed all those.
