phase 2A for chongzheng pri or phase 2B for st Hilda (1to 2 km)

Which would u choose? Worth balloting for st Hilda?

SHSS is too hot and popular to get into balloting. I would take the chance at Chongzheng instead.

Thats my thinking but hubby's prefers st Hilda. I don't think I wanna go thru balloting. Too scary!

        Hi,

I'm interested in putting my boy in St Hilda but we are staying out of 2KM, does that mean that we will not even given a chance to ballot base on passed history? I am anglican so should come under member i suppose.

        Thanks:) Need some advise.

You will be under 2B but outside 2km is hopeless. U may wanna try st Andrews under 2B if u want to have a chance to ballot at all.
I'm under church aff too but have to send my boy to co-Ed sch cos of my gal. I still thinking if should go for church aff to st hilda or by alumni route to chongzheng. Still have 1 year to see how the situation goes.

HI Merkon, thank you very much for your advice. I'm also into co-Ed sch so we might not consider st Andrews. Perhaps we shall montior what's going on this year if there will be a chance for those 2B outside 2km.

How is the chance to get into Poi Ching if staying at within 1km? Based on past statistics, only surface balloting at 1-2km.

            Hi everyone,

I will be enrolling my 2006 daughter into primary 1 come 2013. Do all PVs’ staying within 1 km of St.Hildas’ successful in their application? Just wondering about my chances cause if it is not possible at all; I will just put her in St Anthony’s Bedok or Katong Convent.

So far, no balloting for those within 1 km of St Hildas' in P2B. However, the future may not follow past trends.

Have you performed PV for St. Hildas'??

From your statement, I somehow got a sense that you are not a PV?

We have put in our submissions for PV since last year. As of now, we have yet to hear from the school. Will probably give the school a call next week when the new term starts.

Then I'm afraid you have already missed the boat.

2006 children are registering for P1 next year, meaning the parents will be performing PV duty starting this July till June next year. PV selection process should have been closed by now.

You'd better start making plan for phase 2C.

                    All the best!

Thanks BigDevil. I guess it’s either St Anthony’s or Katong Convent for me than.

Any one knows any good school at Tampines providing support to students not performing to the standard?

Looking for a school not so pressing but to provide more support to the P1 students as my son is a slow development child with mild special need.
