You need to clock min 40hrs.pubby:
[quote=\"yen73\"]Dear all,
May i know if any of the mummies/daddies here enrol their kid via Phase 2B through the SHHK ? if yes, care to share how many hours of volunteer that you have done to get the precious recommendation letter? Am registering for my son next year and am now freaking out as i have yet have any chance to clock the hours.. sigh..
If you are registering for PV next year, I think the selection has been closed.
However if you are registering your DD for next year P1 and you haven't clock any hrs from July 2010 till now....you wasted a chance that many kiasu parents hope for since you are selected for PV in 2010.
Sorry...miss the word SHHK....for tat, I no idea...

anyone with child in Kong Hwa P1 this year? How is the level of of homework for P1 kids? Is it lots of homework for them to bring home everyday?
-
Hi Yen,your question is also my concern. Do we have to clock any hours with the them? I thought we just have to be a member of the SHHK

What are the things they will ask at the interview?

I am freaking out. so stressful. How long is the interview? Do they look at the parent’s qualification level?

My DD is P2 this yr. :lol:
She didn't have any homework most of the days. Even in P2 now, she is also having less homework. -

There will be like at least 10 parents in the room. They will ask you to introduce yourself and what contribution you can give to the school for this 40hrs PV.
Depending on the time, maybe some short FAQ sections.
Stressful ? Yes, at least for us... -

Maybe different teacher gives differently. My DD always manage to complete her homework on that night. DH also always ask me why she has no homework from school. :lol:
