When I heard that Dr TT may be running, there is a \"relieve\" feeling inside me. Heart-feel that he should be the right candidate. Will win hands-down.

Desertwind, agree with you totally that TT has the right credentials to be our president. He also has the 'presence' and 'weight'.


But he also looks quite stern, doesn't seem like the people-oriented type of president. But compare him with the other Tans, I think he stands a higher chance.

Tony Tan to contest Presidential Election


SINGAPORE: Former Deputy Prime Minister Tony Tan said he will contest the upcoming Presidential Election as an independent candidate.

Dr Tan arrived at the Elections Department at 10.30am on Thursday and picked up forms for the Certificate of Eligibility required for the election....
