Starting July 2011, ClassMonitors will be given a token appreciation from KiasuParents.com for their efforts in helping to keep the Forums and Portal tidy and vibrant. As such, ClassMonitors will not receive Community Support Awards since it is part of their role. However, as we have not started this scheme, ClassMonitors remain eligible for this award in recognition of their efforts in the past years. That is why it is so important for recommenders to state the period for the recognition.

Chief, how long will a nominee remain in the list to wait for people to support them? I remember MathIzzzfun has been nominated and supported by 1-2 persons, do we need to keep him in the to-be-commented-supported list until a certain period? Thanks.

ksi, can you create a proper citation for MathIzzzfun? I probably missed him in the deluge of posts. If he has already been accepted under the older 2 seconder scheme, then I will approve it immediately after you have put up his citation. Thanks.

RRMummy, can you put up a proper citation for buds in the new platform? She will fall under the new scheme as I don't think I saw 2 seconders for her yet. So it will have to be 5 seconders to support her nomination.

MathIzzzfun - Has been prompt in solving most of the math problems and I saw that almost his 14 pages of posts are only problems solving. The only thing I am not sure is if he is a tutor advertising on ksp or simply a parent. That will matter for this award?

I look forward to the 'model solutions' posted by MathIzzzfun. I feel that most parents here are more familar with the algebra method which may not be the way our children are taught in schools. MathsIzzzfun's solutions allow us to understand the model method and hence better coach our children should they have any difficulty in Maths.

I have recreated it for you in this thread or do you mean in the new link? And he has one supporter piggylalala now...still waiting for another. The other thing is if a nominee is created in the new link, how would we know as I do not see any W-I-P status, are they supposed to appear in the same list but status is support-in-progress?
