If you get nail polish won't it be worse? She will be digesting some of the nail polish when she bite the nails. Maybe she sees your DH bite, so she bite too? Did you ask her why she bite? Maybe tell her if bite her nails, next time when she's older, her nails will not be nice for polish to be put on..... :evil:

Hmm.. Bcoz i tot there's a nail polish in mkt tat prevents them frm biting n safe for consumption? :scared:

No leh.. she bite during bed time.. I did asked her.. but she only give me the sneaky smile n refuse to answer.. n when i told her abt her nails not being pretty.. she say.. 'ok mummy'.. but when i went into the room 10mins later.. she's biting it again.. sigh.. hopefully i can get her to stop soon..

My DD has the habit of putting her fingers in her mouth and also using her tongue to lick us (yeeks!). She is coming to 4YO. I have warned and scolded her many times but that doesnt deter her from doing it again.

be a together-thingy instead of a sole-reponsibility of one
person leh.. Here was one occasion i had to undergo

tigger88, my DD2 loves to put all her fingers into her mouth too.. n wat i did was.. i pull out her fingers n pull all into my mouth n bite it.. with a bit of pain for her.. so tat she's wont do it again.. hehe.. n she din do it tat often liao.. n if she ever forgets.. i'll action it to her again n she doesnt do it anymore.. n she's 2YO tis yr..

Thanks Buds.. Will go home n read abt the Birth Control.. My fren recommended Depo Provera jab. but she say will decrease sex drive.. which is totally OK for me.. :evil: but i doubt DH will be happy bout it.. :rotflmao:

Maybe you can check with pharmacy or clinic. Or maybe try DIY? Like squeezing lemom juice and apply on her nails? Of course it's easy to wash them off.......Could try to tell her that it's to help her to get rid of her habit.
