im kind of concern how to teach my girl to deal wif bullies. Esp. those bigger kids in the school..

Just before term 2 ended, she was bullied by a girl from P6  Fortunately, the act was committed in front of a camera and that girl was caught. My daughter told me about it...and reminded me not to ask her form teacher as 'case is settled'.

Oh my...how to settle such case? Is it true, there are more bullies in girls school? my girl just don't know how to defend herself. have to keep reminding her not to be afraid n speak out.
Kids have to learn how to manage bullies. It's sad but they have no choice. I keep reminding her to tell the teacher and not be intimidated by the bully. There is a China girl in the class who did terrible things to her...like staple her arm, but my daughter told me she informed the teacher. There are bullies everywhere, not necessarily more so in all girls school.

I hope your DD is not too affected.

Can request teacher to let them sit apart?

Actually this girl from China gives a lot of problems in school. She disturbs the class when teacher is teaching or else does terrible things to the other girls. Being the tallest, she sits by herself right at the back so that she can't bully. The teachers are fed up but can't do much 🤷

My daughter sits right in front.

For term 1, my boy stilldidnt know how to order food by himself, I cooked and pack japanese rice (omu rice) for him. Topped with an omelette, and fresh fruit such as apple, strawberry, kiwi, etc. Sometimes, sandwiches with tuna mayo.

But in term 2, he wants to buy from canteen. He is a small eater, so most of the time, the food that I packed is too much and he ended eating half only. So, I rather he buy from canteen now. :boogie:

Glad to hear that at least the chances may be minimized...

School wants to give her a chance. Apparently this girl has been telling lies and she is only in P1 :yikes: . Suspect she created so much trouble bcos she wants to go back to China.

                        Hi bigsnoopy,

I was heartache & angry when I heard about the naughty China girl bullying her and that P6 girl. Kept reminding daughter to stay away…as for the P6 girl bullying case, it happened right before the cctv in front of daughter’s class. The P6 girl was caught on tv and punished in front of the school during assembly.
My daughter knows how to speak up, but I’m upset the girls now bully one another.
