ST:

Hi all,

I have just called Hong Wen Sch : 96 seats, 75 within 1km, 21 (1-2km) & none for > 2km)

I was in HW school this morning for other matters, saw that vacancy is 90. the rest of stats are as posted (75 within 1km, 21 (1-2km)).

Any further updates ? Last I checked at 2pm - 83 have applied for < 1km.
Not sure about 1 km - 2km though. Hope there is no need to ballot for < 1km...

Don't think their website post this info. Can't find it too. Maybe you want to call them at 63394247.

I need to offload...

I know of someone who has applied for a popular school under Phase 2C and within 1km, using the address of her apartment that is currently being rented out. This school will definitely ballot within 1km!!

What's worse is she has no intention to move in there but rather is looking for another place nearby to the school but it may not be within 1km after all!!

What will you do if you knew of such cases? I'm sure this is not the first, nor last.
