oh, how do you interpret this chart? It means for previous years, there is no balloting under phase 2B for JWPS? I was told by a PRC mom who has been doing PV in this school that the chance to get a seat in Phase 2B for those doing PV is less than 50%.

How do you know those doing PV in JWPS still need to go thru balloting? and if this is the case, how big is the chance?

Based on history, PV in JWPS no need to ballot. But as in all schools, they will let you know it is no guarantee.

Can everybody be secured a seat under Phase 2B? If not, then have to go thru balloting under Phase 3C, right?

Anybody going for Frontier Pri sch soft launch next week?

Now I'm very headache about choosing the school....Want to send my dd to West Grove which is nearer to my house but afraid need to ballot as last year under 2C, 200+ to ballot for 70+ seats! And this year they are reducing 30seats...
Frontier pri sch, we can register under 2B right!
For Rulang pri if stay more than 2km, there will be no chance am I right?

The soft launch left about 20 seats.....I have plan to attend but it crash with my son Yamaha concert at the same time same place...unfortunately cannot attend. Maybe some one who will go for the soft launch to update us some information about it?

Yes, you can PROVIDED you withdraw from the first school.
That is, you can't be registered at 2 different schools at any one time.

Frontier Pri Sch start their intake from 2B so we dont have to wait till end july 2C to register...
I think West Grove chances also very slim unless I'm very lucky!

Yes thanks for the clarification, I saw it in BigD's post after I posted my questions.

You might wanna register for Frontier first and then see how good/bad the chances are for West Grove in Phase 2C before you withraw from there and ballot... but my guess is.. very very tough...

My DD1 registered last year but it was equally stressful

Then she's mis-informed.

Looking at the table (not the chart at the beginning of the page), phases that require balloting are highlighted by a coloured cell - red for within 1km, yellow for within 2, and green for beyond 2km.

For JWPS, the cells are not coloured under phase 2B...meaning all who
registered under phase 2B got a place in the school.

That said, past history is no guarantee of what will transpire in the upcoming registration.
