Yes, you can PROVIDED you withdraw from the first school.BigDevil,
After register still can ballot for another school??
That is, you can't be registered at 2 different schools at any one time. -

Yes thanks for the clarification, I saw it in BigD's post after I posted my questions.RRMummy
Frontier Pri Sch start their intake from 2B so we dont have to wait till end july 2C to register...
I think West Grove chances also very slim unless I'm very lucky!
Which school are you aiming?
You might wanna register for Frontier first and then see how good/bad the chances are for West Grove in Phase 2C before you withraw from there and ballot... but my guess is.. very very tough...
My DD1 registered last year but it was equally stressful
Good luck! :xedfingers: -

Then she's mis-informed.oh, how do you interpret this chart? It means for previous years, there is no balloting under phase 2B for JWPS? I was told by a PRC mom who has been doing PV in this school that the chance to get a seat in Phase 2B for those doing PV is less than 50%.
Looking at the table (not the chart at the beginning of the page), phases that require balloting are highlighted by a coloured cell - red for within 1km, yellow for within 2, and green for beyond 2km.
For JWPS, the cells are not coloured under phase 2B...meaning all who
registered under phase 2B got a place in the school.
That said, past history is no guarantee of what will transpire in the upcoming registration. -

Yes, that is what the historical data shows.. no balloting for 2Bengp9337:

Even though you get to register at phase 2B, it is still subjected to balloting if there are more registrants than places available.Would like a ask a question regarding the new school - Frontier Primary School:
Can everybody be secured a seat under Phase 2B? If not, then have to go thru balloting under Phase 3C, right?
Should you fail to get a place in 2B at Frontier, than you will have to try your luck at other schools in 2C.
There is no phase 3C. -
Champion:
Oh, does that mean for those who wants to register for Frontier Primary School can go on the dates for Phase 2B (i.e. 18 July & 19 July) and need to be qualify under those requirement stated
I don't think the usual 2B qualifying requirements applies for Frontier leh... I think since they have 240 places they need more time to get everything in kua...

Oh, she talks in such a firm tone so i started to suspect my own understanding. And any mom knows how many PV JWPS accepted for every year? Do they play the same tactic as West Grove Pri by accepting more than they can offer and end up going thru balloting for PV parents under 2B? I have served around 10 hrs in JWPS but considered to quit coz i have to travel a lot and could not commit the time. and of coz the other reason is that I might not be secured a place even if I serve 40 hrs ... and in the end might still go thru balloting

btw, does the new school accept PV?
-
RRmummy,
So you went thru the balloting for West Grove last year?
Your kid is studying there now? -

No idea.. maybe you can email the school.
BTW, I am assuming your child is not registering this year since you said you have done only 10hours for PV of JWPS.. correct?
