You all know EYS charge for every type of herbs double the normal price? And their herbs are also from supplier also…not their own herbs…they just repackage it.
Talking about genuine chinese herbs. Wouldn’t the well known Beijing Tong Ren Tang which has hundred years of history better? -

To treat phlegm and cough, there are other more effective chinese herbs formula than cordyceps-each formula specified for each type of condition that suit the specific person constituent. To strengthen the body, there are also various type of chinese herbs formula that for different bodily constituent. So what justify using the pricey cordyceps?
The staff from EYS told me if child has phlegm n cough, just double boil 4-5 pcs with 1 bowl water for 2 hrs will do. Adding meat will be too strong for toddlers. -
WeiHan:
yes, EYS price could be double , some even triple......You all know EYS charge for every type of herbs double the normal price? And their herbs are also from supplier also...not their own herbs...they just repackage it.
yes, they get fr suppliers too, but they specially select their suppliers and heard that they personally made trips to the plantations.
if u have been taking the same kinda of herbs,
u 'll be able to tell the difference between fakes and geniune.... -
Augmum:
They visit the plantation just for a few kind of herbs....just for advertising purpose...and that don't justify the double and triple in price. EXTREMELY reliable source like Beijing Tong Ren Tang don't charge this kind of price also....they are just out to reap some of you off.

This medical hall is from China. More than a 100, probably 200 years history. Chinese Emperor used them. They set up branch in Singapore but their herbs are famous for effectiveness because it is from the best sources.

Just that for me, the only common herb I know is cordyceps, which is good for lungs. Since my toddler son had phlegm all the time, so i let him take cordyceps to 'strengthen' his lungs. It's more like a supplement than treating the illness, at least to me. But it worked on my mil, she has old-age asthma and tend to cough a lot at times, after taking one bowl, she stopped coughing at night. But I think it's all in your mind, if you think the herb is good for you, your brain will tell your body to heal. Haha

[/quote]Cordyceps is good for cough due to \"weakness\"...that is why it is effective for many old people but the price nowaday simply don't justify it. Even if one really HAVE TO take cordyceps, it will be better to concort it with a few other herbs so as to enhance the effectiveness and not \"waste\" this expensive herbs.
