Well, not all maids can cook or like to cook. Just watch what some of them cook for themselves…gosh, I don’t think you’ll even want to think about putting that stuff in your mouth. I’ve had maids like that before. So my maids never had to cook when I had them. -

Hey, i bought my Roomba 560 from http://www.autovacstore.com too. Was referred by a friend, paid $500 for it, so far so good. seems like it picks up a lot of fine dust that i would normally miss with a vacuum cleaner. and its quieter too. I am considering the iRobot scooba 380 now. Anyone used it before? Anyway, the delivery guy was really friendly and helpful too, he did a demostration of the scooba and showed me how dirty the water was after a cleaning cycle. But i am still considering it due its higher cost (around $700) and its seems unable to reach the corners of the rooms as its round-shaped. Anyone used it before, could kindly provide some feedback?Hi Chloecube,
Sorry I miss out on this.....I got my robots from a local parallel importer. The local distributor is selling it at a ridiculously high price. But you might still prefer to buy from them.
Anyway, here's where I got from http://www.autovacstore.com and they even provide free delivery. -
Hi Mrsneo,
I have both the Rhoomba 550 and Scooba 380. Actually just got the Scooba from Autovac too about 2 weeks ago. :celebrate:
I'm very pleased with the Scooba and it's well worth it for me. :rahrah:
It cleans the floor well (as clean as my Osim steam Vac except I don't have to manually do it) but you are right about it not being able to get into corners. So you WILL have to get a mop to clean the edges and corners if you want a thoroughly cleaned floor. If your place is big, the Scooba will not be able to finish up cleaning as it will either run out of water or need a battery recharge as it is alot slower than the Rhoomba.
Cleaning Scooba is easy as it will take only about 5mins to rinse the tank and a few small parts. :boogie:
So now I'm exploring which is the best mop 'cos I'm not quite happy with what I have now. Thinking of getting the \"Spin Mop\" from Homefix.
Anyone got any reviews on the \"Spin Mop\" ? -
thks fifiyeo, i will go google on it. if really my maid leave in another 1.5 yr times, i will consider getting all the "robots" to ease my burden…

Those brooms bought from neighbourhood shops shed \"hair\" such easily and am wondering if I am using them in the correct manner. -

Hi chloecube, may want to consider the neato VX-11, Read some reviews, seems to be very advanced, with the laser sensing and all. my Roomba 560 seems a little too random for my liking. I read an interesting review comparing the Roomba with it here. http://autovacstore.com/cms.php?id_cms=14
But would like to get some advice from other who actually used it.
