i feel if maids are given one off day per week, there will be more cases of maid getting pregnant and all kinda of funny cases like those recent ones.. gahmen never think of all these ?

I don't think that many maids are here to get a bf. but one thing I am pretty sure is that biz at part time cleaning agencies will fall...becos there may be a sudden surge in supply. :siam:

yanyan… start with soap (notgel) and shampoo, buy dettol soap… bathe at least twice a day… tell her not to stinge on the soap and shampoo and use more. Sniff her after a week and see any improvement.

Mine used to stink, she goes into the bathroom throws water on herself and thats bathing to her, I gave her a sponge so that she will scrub, well much better after that. Make sure yr maid spend some time in the bathroom and not just go thru the motion and come out.

The survey results in ST this morning states that 85% of FIL maids have at least 1 off day a month. I am the pivilege 15% whose FIL has no off day then.

All these talks and reports make me look forward to the day that I can be maidless.

jtoh, I think it's not that they don't like to bathe but back in their village, water may not be so readily available. So they probably have to carry pails of water from streams or well to bathe. So maybe they are used to using limited water to bathe. That's my guess. 😄

ZuEn, I also look forward to the day when I can be maidless. Until the day when MOM will revise the rules and policies so that employers are also protected, employers in spore are in a lose-lose situation. :frustrated:
