UNFORTUNATELY, my son's teachers are not very forthcoming with advice. I've had near-clashes with his form teacher :mad:
Just before his CA1, I asked her what will be tested for Science...she didn't reply me. So I asked again and got a sickening reply from her. Apparently, I am not the only parent who got sh!@ from her. My son told me NEVER to ask her anything again.

Aiyo, so unreasonable. Even though I haven't encountered anyone like that, sometimes I really resent schoolteachers for that. :mad: There's totally, TOTALLY nothing wrong with asking those questions. You should report this to the school principal. :stompfeet:

I'm very happy IJ TP principal is warm and approachable. She is also willing to lend a listening ear to parents.

Yes, I experienced a 'school culture shock' since beginning of this year.
Daughter's teachers and principal are so likeable while those in son's school are the exact opposite...except his Chinese teacher.

What to do ? Take the SA1 Science for eg. I didn't know what topics would be tested. So I emailed her twice as I didn't get any reply...needed to plan revision time-table urgently. You know what she did ? She made him stand up in front of whole class and repeat after her as to what topics will be tested :mad: That is how sickening she is.

Do they give a list of topics together with the exam dates? Anyway, the Science topics can be found in Science guides that are available at bookstores like popular.
