Hi PlatypusMeowMeow,
Forget about the principal...no better. :censored:
I'm very happy IJ TP principal is warm and approachable. She is also willing to lend a listening ear to parents. -

I totally agree. Mrs Tan is very warm and motherly. However, she still drives me crazy. :razz:Hi PlatypusMeowMeow,

Yes, I experienced a 'school culture shock' since beginning of this year.

Daughter's teachers and principal are so likeable while those in son's school are the exact opposite...except his Chinese teacher. -
OMG, then it must be very difficult.

What to do ? Take the SA1 Science for eg. I didn't know what topics would be tested. So I emailed her twice as I didn't get any reply...needed to plan revision time-table urgently. You know what she did ? She made him stand up in front of whole class and repeat after her as to what topics will be tested  That is how sickening she is. -
Do they give a list of topics together with the exam dates? Anyway, the Science topics can be found in Science guides that are available at bookstores like popular.

Yes, the list of topics will come but that means it's 2 weeks before the exam dates. Too late already.
Anyway, now I know P5 Science CA/SA will cover everything from P3.
Was telling my son to finish his education and get out of the school. I've enough :stompfeet: -

NVM...[/quote]I have 3 Science guide books...the latest copy is I-Science, slim version as the other 2 are rather thick and wordy. I don't get him to memorize concepts as there is too much. Expose him to past year exam papers and some questions in assessment books. For Science & Math, it's all about practice. -
Hi parents,
Do u realize that your P1 dd has been re-grouped during her Chinese lesson? I know they are re-grouped based on their SA1 Chinese result. How to know they are studying foundation or normal or higher Chinese now? :? Has the chinese teacher give out the spelling list yet? Thanks.
