So Bro Mark ....
Subtle Hint .... 2nd Child ....

Having a real pet is not a bad thing after all. I had a dog for 15 years and I learnt a great deal abt responsibility and commitment. I have not gathered enough courage to keep another dog because the feeling for it can be so strong when it has to passed on.
As for what virtual pets mine own..they have dogs and I think, cats too from sim2 (psp). They only get to see their pets once a week.

Those 2 fellas refused to stop...after getting many 'NOs'. They said they wanted another sibling :slapshead: . Son wanted a 弟弟 and daughter wanted a 妹妹.
lol!! that's what I would do too.. I always tell my boys that I am already taking care of 2 'monkeys', I don have time for more!!janet_lee88:
My hubby tries very hard to be the 'good guy'...but with son going to P6, he has failed miserably.
Kids said they wanted a pet...I told them, \"NO animals\". Then my mum promised daughter fighting fish. But I brought the fish to mum's place bcos she agreed to the fish.
Brother Mark,
Maybe your son is indeed lonely. Although I didn't think of having 2 initially, I realized that 2 is really a magic number...they can keep each other company...play with each other and my older one coaches her when I'm tired. -

For us, it is also one of the main reasons why we decided to have a 2nd one after i sensed that my elder son was quite lonely playing by himself. Those 2 fellas refused to stop...after getting many 'NOs'. They said they wanted another sibling :slapshead: . Son wanted a 弟弟 and daughter wanted a 妹妹.

i have always liked dogs and cats. for me it is the same. the main reason why i would not get another one is because one day when they pass on, it takes awhile to overcome emotionally.:? But well, if God gifts... :imanangel:

So i would only get pets like fish where there is not much emotional attachment.
Last yr my ds2 wanted a fish pet. so i invested more than $100 to get the tank and everything. but after a few months the interest faded, and when we had to travel, we had to give the fish away eventually. -
Hi mark,
Don’t be too quick to say no lah.
A pet will not be with the child for life, but a sibling will be. -

My 3 kids R Very Close to each other, even though my Eldest is 6 yrs older than my #3.
Even with 3 of them around, My Gal Still come to me occasionally and tell me she's bored! (even with her super active CCA schedules .... )
Not Asking U to go for 3, but consider 2 kids ....
Your Son never ask U for Di-Di or Mei-Mei -meh?

My kids are almost 5 years apart, but they enjoy each other's company...of course they fight over whose turn. Older one looks out for sibling when we go out. Younger one is his 'nurse' when he is sick. A pet can never replace a sibling

no -la! We sista feel for your ds being the ONLY kid at home ....
Very lonely -mah!
So speak on your son's behalf :please: :please: -
Hi Mark,
It's because you have only 1...that's why you worry so much
Like my neighbour's son who is an only child. His father has no time for him and mother is busy with housework after office. Very poor thing as he's really lonely.
